Ideal for special applications where normal paper is simply not robust enough. Where paper comes into contact with moisture, for example. We use selected pulps and synthetic fibres (polyamide and polyester) in the manufacturing process. A special impregnation gives the paper the required strengths.

Overview
Security:
pretex® can also be provided with security features (fluorescent and non-fluorescent fibres).
Safe in contact with food:
pretex® food is approved for direct contact with food. The white pretex® grades are safe for indirect food contact. This also applies to accidental, brief periods of direct contact.
We will be pleased to provide you with the relevant ISEGA-certificates on request.
Ageing and UV resistance:
The coated pretex® grades are resistant to ageing in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9706 and DIN 6738. The uncoated grades are resistant to ageing in compliance with DIN 6738. In addition, pretex® also has high UV resistance. We do not use optical brighteners.
Disposal and compostability:
pretex® is partially biodegradeable. pretex® decomposes when biologically treated. The synthetic elements do not disintegrate, however, so that no marketable compost is produced.
On request, pretex® grades are FSC® certified available.
