Lahnpaper produces various nonwovens for the production of non-medical face masks. Due to the current measures to contain the spread of the corona virus and the obligation to wear masks in public transport and shops in Germany, the demand is increasing.
Lahnpaper offers the following product types for the production of non-medical face masks - also called community masks:
307.034 // 34 g/m² , 307.047 // 47 g/m²
impregnated special nonwovens
very good air permeability
printable with specific printing technologies*
available in reels and sheets
214.048 // 48 g/m², 494.115 // 115 g/m²
*Printing tests recommended.
The nonwovens referred to above are only suitable for the production of non-medical face masks ("community masks"). They are not certified for medical products - such as medical face masks, surgical masks, respirators, filtering face pieces - or personal protective equipment.
