3rd – 5th December 2018, Hanoi/Vietnam - Lahnpaper participated in HSP Asia 2018. The conference featured the latest technologies for the production and issuance of banknotes, e-passports, ID cards, visas and other documents throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
In a joint presentation with Stephan Hofstetter, SECOIA, Christian Drissler, Business Unit Manager Security at Lahnpaper, spoke on the topic "Crisis-fit document system, between paper and cards".
In cooperation with SECOIA and other partners, Lahnpaper has developed a concept that enables documents to be issued at a wide variety of locations. It meets the highest requirements for the security of an emergency document, as well as longevity. It is resistant to a wide variety of environmental influences, such as weather, moisture, dirt, etc. With its various possibilities for embedded security features combined with its unique durability, neobond® security paper takes a central position in this new concept. "It was very encouraging to see how positively this new concept was accepted. Especially in discussions with representatives of NGOs, we noticed that such an approach is highly relevant," says Christian Drissler, Business Unit Manager Security about his experiences at HSP Asia in Hanoi.
The next High Security Printing Asia 2019 will take place in November 2019 in Yokohama/Japan. However Lahnpaper is planning another presentation at the HSP EMEA 2019, which will take place from 25th to 27th March 2019 in Malta.
