18 - 20 June 2019, Johannesburg - The 5th Annual Meeting of the ID4Africa Movement took place in South Africa. The aim is to develop responsible systems to enable access to legal identity documents for all people on the African continent.
FOR DEMANDING ENVIRONMENTS
Everyone has the right to have a certified proof of identity such as a birth certificate or identity card. These documents are the key to an independent life. Together with various solution partners SECOIA has developed CROC (Consortium for Robust Credentials).
CROC offers a comprehensive system to issue robust and secure documents with minimal requirements. Therefore CROC can ideally be applied under difficult conditions (e.g. low power supply).
LAHNPAPER AT ID4AFRICA 2019
Lahnpaper looks back on a successful participation. At the joint booth with SECOIA, numerous good and promising discussions were held with government representatives, customers and interested visitors.
ID4Africa provided a good platform to present CROC, together with the other Partners, as a comprehensive system for creating secure, fully adapted identity documents that can be used in very demanding Environments.
SAVE THE DATE
The next ID4Africa Annual Meeting will take place from 2nd until 4th June 2020 in Marrakesh/Morocco and will provide an all-round perspective on the topic "identity" with all its facets and stakeholders under the theme "Identity 360".
