Recommendations for material selection

  1. Define the application: Clarify whether the material will be used indoors or outdoors, the intended service life and the level of mechanical stress expected.
  2. Define the requirement profile: Properties such as tear and wet strength, stiffness, haptics or sustainability aspects should be defined early on to optimally match the material to the application.
  3. Consider print and finishing: The selected substrate should match the printing process and planned finishing techniques – such as coatings, embossing, films or specific binding methods.
  4. Test samples: Testing within your own process provides insight into print quality, scoring and folding behaviour and ensures the material reliably meets technical requirements.

FAQ

They are based on specialised fibre blends made from pulp combined with binders, synthetic fibres and tailored impregnations. Our products combine the optimal properties of paper, non-wovens and films through fibre blends with varying proportions of synthetic fibres, resulting in high strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to weathering and ageing.

Most common processes can be used without difficulty, including offset and digital printing. Testing the material is recommended to ensure compatibility with the chosen printing processes and the desired results.

A suitable tactile feel and a clear surface appearance enhance both the visual and haptic impression. At the same time, the high durability ensures that the product maintains its impact throughout its entire service life.
