HARD-WEARING SYNTHETIC FIBRE PAPERS

Ideal for all applications where extreme longevity and high wear-and-tear resistance is of the essence – vehicle documents, for example. neobond® grades consist of a mixture of selected pulp and synthetic fibres, reinforced with a special impregnation. A coating on both sides ensures good printability.

  • high strengths, particularly tear strength and folding strength when wet or dry
  • good light and colour fastness
  • excellent dimensional stability
  • very good ageing resistance
  • high level of temperature resistance
  • waterproof
  • resistant to many chemicals and solvents

    TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:

    • index sheets
    • permanent documents (vehicle registration documents, certificates)
    • identity documents (vaccination and emergency health cards, membership and employee ID cards)

    • folding
    • perforation
    • punching (except crown punching)
    • grooving
    • creasing
    • drilling

    • sewing
    • eye-letting
    • embossing (e.g. blind or hot foil stamping)

    IMPORTANT FEATURES:

    • Security:
neobond® can be provided with security features (fluorescent and non-fluorescent fibres, chemical reagents).
    • Safe in contact with food:
The white neobond® grades are safe for indirect food contact.  This also applies to accidental, brief periods of direct contact.
We will be pleased to provide you with the relevant ISEGA-certificates on request.
    • Ageing and UV resistance
neobond® is resistant to ageing in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9706 and DIN 6738. In addition it has high UV resistance. We do not use optical brighteners.
    • Disposal and compostability:
neobond® is partially biodegradeable.  neobond® decomposes when biologically treated. The synthetic elements do not disintegrate, however, so that no marketable compost is produced.

On request, neobond® grades are also FSC® certified available.
