Extraordinary notebooks: Design meets haptic – reinheft and Lahnpaper

Notebooks are personal companions, a place to treasure memories and hold on to creative ideas. Every notebook tells its own story shaped by the individual design and the unique moments captured in it. Lahnpapers neobond® is used for the covers of the reinheft notebooks. The durability of this material enables the extraordinary design, notebooks made entirely from paper. In addition, the special haptic of the neobond® underlines the uniqueness of the notebooks.

The Material

neobond®

neobond® is an all-rounder, ideal for anything, particularly when things need to have a long durability and high resistance. Our neobond® qualities consist of a mixture of selected cellulose and synthetic fibres, which are fixed and stabilised by a special impregnation. The double-sided coating ensures excellent printability. The unique feel adds to neobond material being exceptional for long-lasting printed products.

The application

Unique notebooks

reinheft produces unique notebooks and calendars. Made of neobond® the unique design of the allows the inside pages to be held together without the use of staples, glues or threads. Once full the inside pages can be removed and replaced, and the cover can be reused over and over. To securely retain the written full pages there is a special stripe of neobond® which will hold the loose pages together, allowing a suitable solution for archiving the pages. The notebooks and calendars are available in five vibrant colours and in two sizes – tailored perfectly to individual preferences and requirements.

Currently testing with our recyclable products lahnur® underway for other unique reinheft products.

Our products are of under-stated design, durable, minimum raw materials and re-useable components. Founded in 2013 in Karlsruhe reinheft was nominated in 2014 for the Design prize in the Federal Republic of Germany.
